NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of County Commissioners of Nassau County, Florida, at a meeting to be held on Monday, the 9th day of June, 2025 at 5:00 P.M., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, in the Commission Chambers, located at the James S. Page Governmental Complex, 96135 Nassau Place, Yulee, Florida, intends to consider for adoption the following proposed Ordinance:

ORDINANCE NO. 2025-023

AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF NASSAU COUNTY, FLORIDA AMENDING CHAPTER 7 - BUILDINGS AND BUILDING REGULATIONS. AT ARTICLE II. BUILDING CODE. AT DIVISION 1. GENERALLY. BY RESCINDING AND REPLACING SECTION 7-6. ADOPTED. IN ITS ENTIRETY IN ORDER TO ADOPT THE 8TH EDITION (2023) OF THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE AS MORE PARTICULARLY SET FORTH HEREIN; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTING PROVISIONS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Copies of the Ordinance are available at the County Managers Office, 96135 Nassau Place, Suite 1, Yulee, Florida 32097 Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. through 5:00 p.m., except legal holidays.

The Board of County Commissioners may continue hearings on this matter.
