Nassau County continues to fill the gaps in the county’s fire emergency coverage.  A ceremonial groundbreaking was held for Station 10 at 10 a.m. on Thursday in Yulee. Station 10 will be located at 75822 Edwards Road in Yulee.

The Fernandina Beach community is looking for support in the fight against a bioethanol plant in the city, but some say they are not receiving that support from the city’s elected leaders.

FDOT shuts down commissioner efforts to purchase right-of-way

Despite a last minute effort to purchase property to build a sidewalk around the roots of a live oak on Atlantic Avenue, the Florida Department of Transportation will continue with its work to replace the paver sidewalk with a cement one.
