Nassau County nurse to appear on Jeopardy tonight

For the News-Leader Local Nassau County resident, Alison Trembly, DNP, APRN, family nurse practitioner, for Barnabas Center appears on the popular television game show Jeopardy! today, July 20th.    Trembly was able to put a checkmark next to a huge bucket list item, participating on Jeopardy!.

Coffee kiosk on the horizon

Tuesday morning’s meeting with the Development Review Committee (DRC) hinted that a new coffee franchise could be on the horizon for the east side.

"Last of the Right Whales" comes to Fernandina Beach

After premiering in Jacksonville in February, the documentary “Last of the Right Whales” made its way to Fernandina Beach with a showing Saturday, July 16, at Story & Song Bookstore Bistro. Dozens of community members and environmental activists attended the event.

Nassau County School Board not in violation of committee law

The Nassau County School Board determined it was not violating state statutes by not having a citizens’ budget advisory committee. Board chairwoman Donna Martin said she received a call from “a constituent” who said the board was violating state laws.
