The Yulee High School softball team (14-13) lost to Wakulla 5-2 Wednesday night at home in a Region 1-4A quarterfinal matchup. Yulee struck first, scoring a run in the bottom of the first. Yulee beats Bishop Kenny to clinch crown

The Lady Hornets captured their first district title since 2014 when they beat Bishop Kenny 4-2 Thursday night, pulling an upset over the District 3-4A’s top seed in the championship game. “We finally played a complete game,” said Chris Hicken, head softball coach at Yulee High School.
