Pirates win, play in Region 1-3A championship
The Yulee High School softball team (14-13) lost to Wakulla 5-2 Wednesday night at home in a Region 1-4A quarterfinal matchup. Yulee struck first, scoring a run in the bottom of the first. Both teams loaded the bases in the second, but left runners stranded. Yulee took a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the fourth, but Wakulla knotted the score in the top of the fifth.
