FWC opposes NOAA’s proposed right whale-related speed restrictions

Friends of Fort Clinch hosts members for candlelight event

Fort Clinch takes on a unique appearance at night, some might say a magical appearance, lit only by candles, lanterns and fires in the fireplace. On Friday night, Dec. 2, the Friends of Fort Clinch hosted about 125 members of the Friends to show them appreciation.

RYAM seeks permit renewal for Fernandina and Yulee facilities

Rayonier Advanced Materials (RYAM) is seeking to renew its permit for its Fernandina Beach plant and Yulee Sludge Management Facility with the Department of Environmental Protection. While the Fernandina Plant has been here since 1939, the Yulee Sludge Management Facility did not open until 1977.
