Rotarians and students fundraise for service

The Fernandina Beach Rotary-sponsored Interact Club recently held a successful car wash. Several Rotarians and 15 students raised hundreds of dollars to buy holiday gifts for senior citizens who have no family.

Shuttered by the pandemic in 2020, this year’s Riding Into History concours charity returned with a vengeance.

Riding Into History is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, all-volunteer organization. Over the course of the agency’s history, RIH has donated more than $450,000 to local and national charities.

Patrick McDowell has pleaded guilty to the murder of Nassau County Sheriff’s Deputy Joshua Moyers. At a deposition held Friday, March 10, McDowell and his attorneys came before the court to change his plea.

Nassau County Chamber hosts ‘Doing Business with Big Business’

The Nassau County Chamber of Commerce will host two "Doing Business with Big Business" events in the month of April. The first event, with representatives from the private sector, will take place on Tuesday, April 4, from 8:30-10 a.m.
