On Thursday, Feb. 2, more than 500 chamber members and community leaders came out to celebrate the local business community at the chamber’s annual Awards Dinner & Gala, hosted this year at The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island. Winners were selected by the chamber’s board of directors and chamber of commerce members.

The Nassau County Chamber of Commerce congratulates both the nominees and winners of each category and thanks the sponsors of this year’s annual Awards Dinner & Gala: Breeze Airways, Care Centers of Nassau, Davis Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, PrimeSouth Bank, First Federal Bank, Florida Public Utilities Company, Summer House Realty, Rayonier Inc., Amelia Hotel at the Beach, Comfort Suites Fernandina Beach, Ocean Coast Hotel Amelia Island, Seaside Amelia Inn and Community Hospice & Palliative Care. Judge refuses to halt FSU-ACC case

A Leon County circuit judge Tuesday refused to put on hold a lawsuit filed by Florida State University against the Atlantic Coast Conference, as a big-money battle between the university and its lo
