Mobile Veteran Center to provide services today at Wildlight YMCA

Veterans can receive services free of charge today at a mobile veterans center at the Wildlight YMCA in Yulee. Melissa Yuchasz, Operations Director for Florida First Coast YMCA said the mobile unit will be at the YMCA from 9 a.m. until noon.

Nassau County preps for Storm Nicole

Pirates, Lady Pirate qualify for state championship

The Fernandina Beach High School boys golf team and, competing individually for the girls, Sady Campbell placed fourth, respectively, in the Region 1-2A tournament Tuesday. On Thursday, head coach Christina Steffen learned everyone is heading to state.

Hornets wallop Warriors; Pirates fall to Wildcats

The Hornets pushed their record to 5-4 with Friday’s 35-6 win over host West Nassau. The Yulee High School football team caps the regular season this week at Menendez in St. Augustine. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. Yulee jumped out to a 28-0 first-quarter lead Friday and tacked on one more in the third.
