News Service of Florida The average price of a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline was $4.08 Monday, down 18 cents from a week earlier and 61 cents over the past month, according to the AAA auto club.

City moving forward with beach smoking ban

City Attorney Tammi Bach said Gov. Ron DeSantis recently signed legislation that changed the exemptions to the state code that allows counties and municipalities to regulate smoking on public beaches and parks. With that change, smoking tobacco with a pipe or plastic-tipped cigars are not allowed.
