To say the Fernandina Beach city government has been dysfunctional in recent years is like saying the Jacksonville Jaguars have been a losing organization. These are obvious understatements. There is hope, however.

It was bound to happen. We’ve seen this nation’s states compared every way you can think of: which state has the most obese people, which state has the most impoverished, which state has the most homeless, the most lakes, the most tornadoes, the most dogs, the most bad teeth.
