County asks for public input on final Vision 2050 draft

Nassau County announced it has completed its final Draft Vision 2050 Plan and will hold several community workshops to present it to the public.  The draft plan is available online for public comment until May 23.

County unveils Blackrock Cove Park plans

The county is forging ahead with plans to expand recreational options to Nassau County residents. Most recently, the county unveiled the conceptual plan for Blackrock Cove Park.

Constitutional champs: Home school team clinches victory in annual Constitution Bowl

Nassau County’s brightest constitutional scholars faced off Monday night at Wildlight Elementary School as the U.S. Constitution Scholarship Foundation (USCSF) hosted its annual Constitution Bowl, awarding $15,000 in scholarships to 14 participating students.

County responds to DOGE

Nassau County sent its reply to the state’s Department of Governmental Efficiency (DOGE), and expressed support for the financial efficiency program. The letter, dated April 2, was signed by County Manager Taco Pope.
