A recent newspaper story reported that some 55 million Americans traveled over the Thanksgiving weekend to be with family and friends. The story also predicted that roughly 113 million of us will travel to share Christmas and/or New Year’s with people we love.

In October, local EAA Chapter #943 hosted its latest Young Eagles Day. Sixty-one budding aviators aged eight to 17 took, what for many was, their first flight, provided by local pilots in their personal aircraft.
