Recently, I attended a Citizens Defending Freedom (CDF) event at the Community Center at American Beach. Seamus Bruner spoke about his new book, “Controligarchs.” I had heard a little about the book before they put this event together, but I dismissed it a conspiracy-laden, apocalyptic fever dream.

Fernandina Beach is host to Florida's friendliest farmers market, and it will be open Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., rain or shine. Their sister market, Wildlight Market Place will also be open in Yulee, near Interstate 95.

Open Adoption: Is it worth the angst, fear and complication?

National Adoption Month has been celebrated every November for over two decades in communities nationwide. National Adoption Day, always the Saturday before Thanksgiving, is November 18. I am an adoptive mom who is celebrating that there is now open adoption.

Luxurious electric transportation

A good friend of mine is a BMW enthusiast and wants to do what he can to save our planet. He’s also a former 7-Series owner and was intrigued with the German automaker’s i7 luxury electric vehicle offering.
