Paddle for Veterans raises $10K for Building Battle Buddies

Cruisin' for a cause

This weekend an annual local event that supports veterans will hold its largest event to date. The Cross the Line Paddle for Veterans is set to take place Saturday morning. Bill Cimino, co-director of Cross the Line Foundation, said as of Wednesday 149 people were registered for the event.

Amelia Island officially has another international event.From 1 p.m. until late at night on June 20, skaters, surfers, film-makers and celebrities will converge on Amelia Island to celebrate the culture around skate and surfing films and the sports themselves.
