Gov. Ron DeSantis made two judicial appointments Tuesday, filling the newly-created Nassau County Court judge seat and a vacant Fourth Judicial Circuit Court seat.
Sarah Bell, a state assistant attorney general, will serve in Nassau’s second County Judge seat. The Fernandina Beach resident is working in the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit in Jacksonville.
Nicole Saunders, an administrative law judge, is filling the vacant seat on the Fourth Judicial Circuit Court. Saunders, of Jacksonville, is working in the state Division of Administrative Hearings’ Jacksonville office. Nassau, Clay and Duval counties make up Florida’s Fourth Judicial Circuit Court.
