NCSO pulls off charity shootout

Gunfire, clay targets shattering and shouts of “pull!” echoed throughout Amelia Shotgun Sports Friday for the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office’s Sheriff Shootout. Money raised goes to NCSO’s Shop with a Cop event, benefitting Nassau County children.

City adopts agreement with police union 

The five commissioners voted to approve a collective bargaining agreement with the police union known as the Coastal Florida Police Benevolent Association during the City of Fernandina Beach meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 18.

Amazing Gracie 

Gracie’s Kitchen in Yulee will be providing nearly 600 meals to families dealing with food insecurity for Thanksgiving. The dinner will be held Wednesday, Nov. 26, the day before the holiday, and will be a drive-up service.
