Institute for Enterprise promotes entrepreneurship, scholarships

Small businesses are vital to the health of any community, and a Nassau County nonprofit more than a decade old is fostering new entrepreneurs at the school level. John Elwell joined forces with Douglas Newton more than 10 years ago to found the Institute for Enterprise.

YHS, FBHS slated for athletic improvements

Athletic structures at Fernandina Beach and Yulee high schools are due for an upgrade.The Nassau County School Board unanimously approved replacing the Fernandina Beach High home-side football bleachers for an amount not to exceed $2,451,015 at its Oct. 9 board meeting.
