Behind the eyes of a military Veteran

My respect for our nation’s military runs deep in my soul. My son is a part of something greater than I will ever experience in my lifetime. He has strength of body and character. He carries out orders with pride and is equipped to lead in any situation that requires a firm hand and a strong voice.

Common ground: It’s all around us

Do you have friends you think of as being “just a good person?” What did you mean when you said that? Maybe you’re describing that person’s values or describing the simple ways the things they do play out in everyday life.

Problems with 401(k)s

In a declining stock market (like we’re experiencing now), participants in company-sponsored 401(k) plans fall behind in preparing for retirement. Some joke their plan resembles a 201(k) after heavy losses.  But it’s no joking matter. A retirement crisis is looming in the U.S.

A salute to Patriot’s Day 2022

Nine years ago, my oldest son signed some documents and was whisked away into a life I knew nothing about, but one that he craved. His calling in life is to serve and protect our nation. I know what it takes to be successful and build a career following a college pathway.
