A fitting final: La Roja triumph in New York

In the end, there was just Spain.I’m not going to lie and say that was the best World Cup final I’ve ever seen. That’s a toss-up between 2006 and 2022. I thought Argentina’s passion and chaos could overcome Spain’s rigidity and passing game.

The Fernandina Beach Golf Club and the City of Fernandina Beach government announced it will host a Watch Party for the World Cup Final at 2 p.m. Sunday.The golf club, 2800 Bill Melton Road, said Happy Hour drink specials and special game-day food will be available.
