In their debut in the Sunshine State Athletic Association under first-year head coach Blake Willis, the Pirates advanced to the Atlantic Division title game. The Fernandina Beach High School football team took on the Frostproof Bulldogs at The Villages Charter High School in Middleton Friday night. The FBHS Pirates lost 27-8 and ended their season with a 6-7 record. The Bulldogs struck first, scoring a touchdown in the first quarter. They led 6-0 at halftime and scored two TDs in the third quarter to take a 20-0 lead. Both teams managed touchdowns in the fourth quarter.
