Celebrations will kick off at the first Fernandina Beach City Commission meeting of 2024. There will be a special presentation in the chambers at 204 Ash St. at 6 p.m. Jan. 2. Expect one or two surprise guests in attendance for the occasion.

An application for involvement is available on the city’s website.
