Attorney opinion says plant would be illegal; public organizing opposition

Three people let the Fernandina Beach City Commission know in no uncertain terms they oppose allowing a bioethanol plant to be built in the city. Opposition has become organized, and grass roots organization No Ethanol Fernandina will hold a public meeting to discuss the matter Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Peck Center.
