The Fernandina Beach Men’s Golf Association, through its Scholarship Trust Fund Inc., has been providing Fernandina  Beach High School graduates scholarships for more than 30 years.

The funding for this effort has been through generous donations of its 100 members and local businesses and an annual golf tournament, where all proceeds go towards scholarships. The selection matrix is heavily loaded toward the student’s financial need.

This year’s recipients of the $2,000 scholarships are Elizabeth Hernandez and Frances Gauna. The 2023 Kraft Tennis Partners scholarship has been awarded to Fernandina Beach High School senior Anna Curley.

Kraft Tennis Partners is a nonprofit, player-owned and operated tennis club, whose mission is to give back to the community whenever possible. Kraft Tennis Partners awards an annual $2,000 scholarship for continued education to a senior member of the FBHS tennis team that exemplifies academic success, teamwork, dedication and school/community involvement.

Curley played on the middle school and varsity tennis teams and was one
of the co-captains of the girls team this year. She plans on attending the University of South Florida and majoring in Health Administration with her ultimate goal of becoming a doctor of physical therapy.
