In pictures: Pride Parade and Festival attracts thousands for fun and entertainment

Thousands of participants and supporters enjoyed the Third Annual Pride Parade and Festival that took place in Fernandina Beach on Saturday. The community gathered along the streets of historic downtown to watch the parade and musical performances, food and shopping were in abundance in Central Park. In dozens of cities across the country, members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning (LGBTQ+) community gather to celebrate “pride" during the month of June.
