“We had a pretty good weekend overall,” said Yulee High School wrestling coach Brandon Crowder. The Hornet grapplers finished fourth as a team in the region tournament, and five wrestlers qualified for the state finals this weekend. Yulee boasts three region champs, one runner-up and a fourth-place finisher. Dylan Johns is a champion at 170 pounds, Austin Adamson is runner-up at 138, Alex Smith is a champion at 195, Turtle Ricks is fourth at 220 and Braylen Ricks is the region champion at 285. “Very proud of our program and how they represented Yulee at regionals,” Crowder said. “Super excited to see how our guys do this weekend.” The state tournament is in Kissimmee.
