The city’s annual street resurfacing project is scheduled to begin March 14, and is expected to take 3-4 weeks to complete. This year’s project will involve the milling and resurfacing of nearly 3.3 miles of city streets.

The five-year resurfacing schedule is created by analytic data provided by the software Roadbotics, which is reviewed and prioritized by staff.

All yard debris, garbage carts and vehicles on these specific roads must be moved off the road. Affected residents may need to make other parking arrangements during this timeframe. Schedule may change slightly due to weather and other conditions outside the city’s control.

Week one schedule:

March 14-15: South 10th and South 11th streets from Atlantic Avenue to Beech Street

March 15-16: South 11th from Elm to Hickory streets

March 16-17: Date Street from South Eighth to South Ninth streets

March 17: Indigo and Jasmine streets from South Seventh to South Eighth streets

Questions may be directed to the Public Works-Operations Department at 904-310-3310.
