NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PLANNING ADVISORY BOARD CITY OF FERNANDINA BEACH

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. in the City Commission Chambers, 204 Ash Street Fernandina Beach, Florida to consider the following: 

LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE TEXT AMENDMENTS (PAB CASE #: 2019-07): CITY OF FERNANDINA BEACH, FLORIDA REQUESTS LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE TEXT AMENDMENTS TO MODIFY STANDARDS FOR HEIGHT ENCROACHMENTS WITHIN SECTIONS 1.07.00 ADDING OR AMENDING CERTAIN DEFINITIONS; AMENDING SECTION 4.02.03 STANDARDS FOR BUILDINGS AND BUILDING PLACEMENT TO ADDRESS CALCULATION OF BUILDING HEIGHT FOR PROPERTIES WITHIN A SPECIAL FLOOD HAZARD AREA; AND SECTION 10.02.01 VARIANCES TO DISALLOW GRANTING OF VARIANCES TO EXCEED MAXIMUM BUILDING HEIGHTS AND TO DEVIATE FROM REQUIRED SIDE YARD SETBACKS FOR BUILDINGS WITHIN 800 FEET OF THE MEAN HIGH WATER MARK OF THE ATLANTIC OCEAN. 

FUTURE LAND USE MAP AMENDMENT AND ZONING MAP AMENDMENTS (PAB CASE #: 2019-16): CITY OF FERNANDINA BEACH, FLORIDA REQUESTS FUTURE LAND USE MAP AND ZONING MAP AMENDMENTS FOR VARIOUS CITY OWNED PROPERTIES TOTALING APPROXIMATELY 22.15 ACRES OF LAND FOR CONSERVATION (CON) AND RECREATION (REC) FUTURE LAND USE AND ZONING DESIGNATIONS AS FOLLOWS:

FUTURE LAND USE MAP AMENDMENT AND ZONING MAP AMENDMENTS (PAB CASE #: 2019-17): CITY OF FERNANDINA BEACH, FLORIDA REQUESTS FUTURE LAND USE MAP AND ZONING MAP AMENDMENTS FOR PROPERTIES OWNED BY THE STATE OF FLORIDA, NASSAU COUNTY, OCEAN HIGHWAY AND PORT AUTHORITY, AND CSX RAILROAD TOTALING APPROXIMATELY 13.65 ACRES OF LAND TO PROVIDE CONSERVATION (CON) AND RECREATION (REC) FUTURE LAND USE AND ZONING DESIGNATIONS AS FOLLOWS:

The PAB serves as a recommending committee. Every application is submitted to the City Commission for final decision making.
