NOTICE OF PARK AND RECREATION IMPACT FEE RATES In accordance with Ordinance 2016-02 “The Nassau County Impact Fee Ordinance” and Chapter 163.31801 F.S., Nassau County hereby provides ninety (90) day notice of an update to the Park and Recreation Impact Fee. Park and Recreation Impact Fees are used to fund growth-necessitated capital improvements to the County Park System. Fire Rescue, Law Enforcement, Administrative Facility and School impact fees are unchanged and are not included in this update. The Park and Recreation Impact Fee rates are updated for all new residential construction occurring within the unincorporated areas of the County and within the boundaries of any municipality that has consented to this amendment. The Park and Recreation Impact Fee shall be collected at the issuance of a building permit for new construction. The Park and Recreation Impact Fee rate is an equal amount in each Park and Recreation Benefit District, see map below. The following Park and Recreation Impact Fee rates will be effective February 5, 2020. Park and Recreation Benefit Districts: 501, 502, 503, 504, and 505. The Park and Recreation Impact Fee rates are equal in each Park and Recreation Benefit District but only apply to new residential construction occurring within the unincorporated areas of the County and within the boundaries of any municipality that has consented to this agreement.
