Railroad crossings in Hilliard and Callahan to be temporarily closed for maintenance

Work schedule announced by Nassau County's Road and Bridge Department.

On behalf of CSX, the Nassau County Road & Bridge Department issued Tuesday a Notice of Intent to Begin Construction on the following railroad crossings in need of repair. For additional information, contact Angela D. Nelis at Southern Commercial Development (803) 808-3600.

The times and proposed dates of repair, pending changes due to weather and/or other conditions, are:

CR 121 in Hilliard, FL – July 11 at 8:00 am to July 15 at 5:00 pm --closed all night. Proposed Detour: US 1 to Andrews Road to CR 121.

Andrews Road in Hilliard, FL – July 15 at 8:00 am to July 20 at 5:00 pm --closed all night. Proposed Detour: US 1 to CR121 to Andrews Road.

Ingham Road in Hilliard, FL – July 16 at 8:00 am to July 21 at 5:00 pm --closed all night. Proposed Detour: US 1 to CR108 to Pine Street to Ingham Road.

Pratt Siding Road in Callahan, FL – July 17 at 8:00 am to July 22 at 5:00 pm --closed all night. Proposed Detour: US1 to Henry Smith Road to Old Dixie Hwy to Pratt Siding Road.

Dyal Road in Callahan, FL – July 18 at 8:00 am to July 23 at 5:00 pm --closed all night. Proposed Detour: US 1 to Henry Smith Road to Old Dixie Hwy to Dyal Road.

Braddock Road in Callahan, FL – July 18 at 8:00 am to July 23 at 5:00 pm --closed all night. Citizens on the north side of the tracks will be contacted concerning detour.

Old Dixie Hwy in Callahan, FL – July 22 at 8:00 am to July 27 at 5:00 pm --closed all night. Proposed Detour: Brandies Avenue to River Road to Bypass Road to Old Dixie Hwy.

River Road in Callahan, FL – July 22 at 8:00 am to July 27 at 5:00 pm --closed all night. Proposed Detour: Old Dixie Hwy to Bypass Road to River Road.

Pickett Street in Callahan, FL – July 23 at 8:00 am to July 28 at 5:00 pm --closed all night. Proposed Detour: US 1 to US301 to Pickett Street.

Ratliff Road in Callahan, FL – July 25 at 8:00 am to July 30 at 5:00 pm --closed all night. Proposed Detour: US 1 to US 301 to Thomas Creek Road to Ratliff Road.
