The Nassau County Chamber of Commerce has posted questions to local election candidates and their answers on their website, so "Get to Know the Candidates."

According to a news release, 'The Chamber of Commerce recently asked each candidate running for an elected position in Nassau County to either answer a questionnaire or provide a 3-minute campaign video that (could be shared) with the community.

"Both the questionnaires and videos are meant to provide more information about the candidates and help you make a more informed decision at the polls this year."

There are several "Virtual Candidate Forum" videos that can be viewed on that same page.

According to the Chamber, "During every local election cycle, the Chamber of Commerce asks the men and women running for elected positions to participate in a candidate forum with their opponents. “The purpose of these forums is to help the candidates promote their platforms and ideas to the general public.

“Local elections impact every member of our community and each elected position plays an important role in shaping the future of Nassau County."
