Rosenwald returns
Due to popular demand, the “Rosenwald” film will be shown again at 6 p.m. on Monday, March 21, at the Fernandina Beach Library Community Room, 25 North 4th St. The film tells the story of Julius Rosenwald, a Jewish philanthropist, who joined forces with African American communities during the Jim Crow South to build more than 5,300 schools during the early part of the 20th Century, including Peck High School. The showing is free to the public and seating is on a first come first basis. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Fernandina Beach Library.  For more information, call the library at 277-7365.
