Two people arrested on methamphetamine charges
The Nassau County Sheriff's Office said on Tuesday that two people were stopped for speeding on July 26, which led to their arrest for allegedly Trafficking in Meth.
According to the emailed news release, a 2003 Nissan Sentra was stopped for speeding on Andrews Road in Hilliard. The driver, Amber Roberts, 27, from Jacksonville, was found to be driving with a suspended driver license.
"An NCSO deputy also observed drug paraphernalia in plain view," according to the report. "Upon further search of the vehicle, 20.1 grams of crystal methamphetamine was found, with a street value of $1,600," according to the release.
Roberts and Patrick Donovan Stokes, 27, from Hilliard were both arrested for Trafficking in Meth and booked into the Nassau County jail.
