NCSO arrests burglary suspects
The Nassau County Sheriff’s Office investigated nine different burglaries in the Callahan area during October and November 2017, according to a news release, and investigators from NCSO have now tracked numerous stolen items from those burglaries to several pawn shops in the Jacksonville area, according to Sheriff Bill Leeper.
As a result of an additional investigation, one suspect has been arrested on charges of burglary, grand theft and dealing in stolen property, and two other individuals were also arrested for allegedly dealing in stolen property.
Investigators have recovered approximately $10,000 worth of stolen property so far. The stolen property recovered includes several thousand dollars in jewelry, leather jackets, and electronics.
The investigation is continuing to determine if any others are involved in these burglaries, as well as locating additional stolen items.
Arrested were Bernard Carrafa, 42, of Jacksonville, currently in the Duval County Jail and facing charges of burglary, grand theft, and dealing in stolen property; Robyn Carrafa, 43, also of Jacksonville, suspected of dealing in stolen property; and Jazmin Jarvis, 23, also from Jacksonville, and also suspected of dealing in stolen property.
