Junior Naturalist class – “Save Our Sea Turtles”

Wild Amelia is offering a new Junior Naturalist class – “Save Our Sea Turtles” – for children ages 5-7 on Thursday, June 23, at 10 a.m. in partnership with The Book Loft, 214 Centre St., Fernandina Beach.
The class will be presented by Wild Amelia board member Kathy Brooks. The children will listen to a story about sea turtles and nesting and will be shown photos of turtle nests and the nesting process on Amelia Island. They will learn what they can do to help endangered sea turtles survive and will complete a simple craft on sea turtles.
There is a $5 cash registration fee for the class. To register for this class, which is limited to 10 children, visit The Book Loft.
