The Orange Hall Foundation invites the public to participate in the “Mending Fences” event at Orange Hall from 9 a.m. to noon, or until work is complete, on Saturday, June 25. Orange Hall is St. Marys’ circa 1830-38 antebellum house museum. A designated national historic landmark, Orange Hall not only serves the community as a cultural heritage attraction but also serves as a great venue for outdoor functions.
Orange Hall is in need of a good old-fashioned work day. Volunteers will be cleaning and painting the white picket fence that surrounds the property and cleaning porch railings and handrails. The Orange Hall Foundation is providing the paint and asks volunteers to bring painting supplies such as brushes, rollers, pans and drop cloths.
The event will be rescheduled if there is inclement weather the morning of the event. Contact Cory Sant at email@example.com.
