Two new rental properties are now leasing in the growing community of Wildlight, and residents will see the construction of a church campus.
Wildlight recently made two announcements: Two rental properties in Wildlight are now available to lease — Hamlet at Wildlight and Exchange at Wildlight — and construction on a 40,000-square-foot church for Church of Eleven22 is to begin in the coming months.
Wildlight shared the plans for the church on April 25.
The church campus will accommodate more than 1,000 people. Residents can expect construction to begin this summer on the south side of state road 200 across from Crosstown Boulevard. Construction crews have already begun preparation on the property. The completion date is set for 2026.
Scherer Construction, based in Gainsville, is leading the design-build of the project. Basham & Lucas Design Group, based in Jacksonville, is the architect.
In the announcement, Wes Hinton, vice president of Wildlight, said, “Welcoming The Church of Eleven22 to Wildlight signifies more than just the establishment of a physical campus; it represents our commitment to fostering a flourishing community. We believe that the inclusion of Eleven22 will enrich the fabric of Wildlight while creating more opportunities for connection.”
In the announcement, Jay Owen, Eleven22 executive director of Communication & Digital Discipleship said, “The Church of Eleven22 is excited for the incredible opportunity to expand into Nassau County within the growing community at Wildlight. At Eleven22, we are a movement for all people to discover and deepen a relationship with Jesus Christ.”
The Church of Eleven22 campus will join 13 others across Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia. Eleven22 is very active on Youtube and Facebook, and both platforms reiterate what Owen said, that The Church of Eleven22 is a “movement for all people to discover and deepen a relationship with Jesus Christ.”
Church of Eleven22 is expected to launch a mobile campus this fall to serve as a temporary worship center while construction is ongoing.
